We are based on the take off, which is just 25 steps from your room at the fantastic Nid d'Aigle hotel.

I love the flying environment in Southern Morocco. So much so that I am on my 15th season at this superb playground.

Here, not only do we have smooth coastal soaring, which is extremely scenic and fun but also thermic conditions offering playful conditions for winter fun and practice.

What to expect on our guided holidays

There are many different levels and standards of guided paragliding holidays currently available.

Not just guiding

Tim will make sure that all you need to think about is enjoying your flying and down time.

Because Tim is also a highly experienced instructor, if you wish, he will make sure that he passes on some of the secrets to making you into a better pilot.

You will learn how to read the local weather, improve your take-off technique, learn more about speed to fly or best turning techniques, reading the thermals and so many more small secrets which can otherwise take years to discover.

We take care to ensure that your accommodation is top class in some of the best locations with your own en-suite room as standard and that the cuisine is delicious and that there will always be a hot shower and a cold beer or juice waiting for you.

Accommodation​

We are located about a 1.5 hour drive south from Agadir airport. My technique centre is based on our main take-off site. In fact your room is about 25 steps from the main launch!

Our other sites are approx. 20 - 40 mins from base.

I believe that comfortable and high quality accommodation is an important part of the learning environment. You will be staying on a half board bases. The friendly pilots lodge serves beautiful local dishes and alcohol is available at the bar. Why not chill on the rooftop lounge and take in the beauty of the massive Saharan night sky.

The swimming pool awaits you after a long afternoons flying.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and you will have your own authentically decorated room.

Getting there

Several economical airlines fly into Agadir. Easy Jet (Gatwick), Ryan Air (Manchester & Stansted). We will transport you from Agadir to the lodge and back.

Book your flights early and there are some great deals to Agadir.

You Will Need

Travel/medical insurance covering paragliding risks. Morocco is often included as Europe as far as cover is concerned. It's getting harder and harder to find a reasonably priced paragliding policy and they are changing all the time.

Here are two options Puffin Insurance (activity 3) or Sportscover Direct.

You will need to bring your paraglider, harness, vario and reserve chute plus a 2m radio (also available for hire). Sky Paragliding clients get a 10% discount off new equipment.
